Edward C. Szalajko, 68, from Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Friday, December 20, 2024, at 3:48 pm in his home.
A celebration of life gathering will be held from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm Friday, January 3, 2025, at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN. Private burial will take place in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
He was born April 16, 1956, in Michigan City, IN, to the late Jozef and Irene (Leszczynska) Szalajko.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by three sisters, Ella Voigt, Sue Giesler, and Diann "Donna" Edwards; and two brothers, Michael Szalajko, and Zeke Szalajko.
Ed worked at Greenwood Cemetery in Michigan City, IN. He enjoyed working on cars, landscaping, and watching college basketball and football.
