James Louis Henoch, 75, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024, at his home. 

James was born on April 1, 1949, in La Porte, IN, to Richard and Delores (Vermilyer) Henoch. 

Surviving are niece, Lori L. (Jerry, Jr.) Hamlin of La Porte; cousins, Alan (Patty) Miller of The Villages, FL, Robert (Brenda) Miller of Kentwood, MI, Gary (Marlene) Miller of La Porte, Mark (Jola) Miller of Allendale, MI, Carl (Jackie) Vermilyer of Greenfield, Loren (Carol) Vermilyer of Rolling Prairie, Lorrie (Mark) Egolf of Salem Heights, Mary Louise (Jerry) Ocoha of Boulder, CO, Barbara (David) Bauer of Denver, CO. and Lorrie (Mark) Egolf of Salem Heights.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Paul R. Henoch; and niece, Lisa Marie Henoch. 

James was a United States Air Force veteran.  He worked as a laborer at various jobs through the years.  James loved to fish.  He listened to classic rock, especially Lynrd Skynrd and Aerosmith.

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.
