Dorothy was a homemaker and caregiver.  Mom had a very big heart. She was loved by all the family that she had and she loved them all very much. They are what she lived for each and every day. Mom was very proud that she was the oldest and lifelong member of  Zion Gospel Chapel which is now known as the River of Life Missionary Church. My childhood was very blessed to have her as a mother as we did a lot of very fun things together. She loved all of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.  She was especially close to Lizzy her granddaughter. She would tell me how much fun they always had together.  I'm so glad she had her in her life.  Mom will rest in peace now and be at ease with life and will be missed by everyone's life she touched.  With all of our love; Vickie, Lynda, Lizzy, Nikki, Helen, Manny, and everyone she knew.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.  Mom loved watching all of the little children on the TV she would tell me about them all the time.
