Sharon found solace in watching mystery crime shows, courtroom dramas, Hallmark movies, westerns with John Wayne, and her all-time favorites, The Golden Girls and The Three Stooges.
Sharon was married to Julius Atwood, Sr., in 1967, with whom she shared six children. Although they later divorced, they remained close friends until he died in 2023.
