Robert Behler, June 15, 1940 - December 4, 2024.  
We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of former Mayor Robert Behler, 84, on December 4, 2024. He died peacefully, surrounded by his family, at his residence in California. His family is bringing him home, to Michigan City, Indiana, in early spring and are planning to honor him with a Mass at St. Mary's of the Immaculate Conception Church followed by burial of ashes, with full military honors, at Greenwood Cemetery.
