Rick Lambert, Sr., June 10, 1945- November 11, 2024.
Rick passed away peacefully, at the age of 79, in Fountain Hills, AZ, with his family surrounding him, after a battle with cancer. Cremation has taken place.
There will be a Celebration of Life in La Porte, IN, at the PNA Club on January 11th. He was born to Richard and Ruth Lambert who preceded him in death, in La Porte. On October 22, 1970, he married Donna Lane, who passed in August of 2023. Survivors include his 3 children. Rick Jr (Lori) of La Porte. Kimberly of Mesa, AZ. Kelly(Tasha Campa) of Queen Creek, AZ. 9 Grandchildren including, Cory Lambert(Christina) of La Porte, IN, Drew Lambert of New Carlisle, IN, Kali Lambert of Bloomington, IN, Sarah Heichel of Mesa, AZ, Jacob Lambert of Phoenix, AZ, Jonathon Lambert of La Porte, IN, Robin Lambert of La Porte, IN, Solei Lambert of Laveen, AZ, Saira Lambert of Laveen, AZ, Sister JoEllen Nye (Steve) of La Porte, IN, Jeff Lambert (Michelle) of New Carlisle, IN. He also was loved by lots of nieces and nephews.
Rick worked for the Indiana State Highway for many years, before retiring to Arizona. He loved music and played it every day. His love for the Chicago Cubs was rewarded in 2016 with a World Series win. He was a Michael Jordan fan and loved his Chicago Bears too. He loved bowling and going to the casino, especially with Lori. He loved traveling and got to take a train up north to see the Grand Canyon. He was loved by all who knew him. He could strike up a conversation with anyone. He loved watching Westerns, anything about slot machines, and the YouTube Channel. He also loved riding roller coasters. He was a member of the American Coaster Enthusiasts. Memorial contributions can be made to Kimberly Lambert, 614 N. Robson Mesa, AZ 85201.
