Beverly Ann Hurt

Beverly Ann Hurt, 75, of La Porte, IN, passed away on November 7, 2024 at Trail Creek Place.  

Beverly was born on February 19, 1949, in South Bend, IN, to Edward and Evelyn (Orlowski) Zarembka.  Surviving Beverly are her 5 children, Jason C. Hurt, Lynsey (Marcin) Ksiezyc, Kimberly (Jerry) Fancett, Paulina Lawton, and William Hurt; 4 grandchildren; life partner, Rick Galvas; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Edward G. Zarembka. 

Beverly enjoyed working for 45 years as a hairstylist.  She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.   Beverly enjoyed working in her yard, visiting casinos, and attending various festivals and fairs, held near and far.  She will be fondly remembered as being "full of piss and vinegar"!  Beverly wasn't afraid to tell you how it was.  

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center. Burial will follow at Pine Lake Cemetery.  A time of visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.  

Memorial donations may be made to the family c/o Lynsey Ksiezyc, 2900 Monroe Street, La Porte, IN 46350, or to the donor's choice.
