Phyllis J. Granacki, July 26, 1941 - November 3, 2024.
Phyllis J. Granacki, 83, from Valparaiso, Indiana, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2024, at 9:30 am in her home.  
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, November 8, 2024, at Queen of All Saints Catholic Church, 606 S. Woodland Ave., Michigan City, IN, with Rev. Jordan Fetcko officiating. A private burial will take place at Tyner Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon to 1:00 p.m. Friday at the Queen of All Saints Legacy Center. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN, is handling arrangements. 
She was born July 26, 1941, in Michigan City, IN, to the late Warren and Marjorie K, (Reid) Marsh. On June 13, 1959, in Michigan City, IN, she married William"Coho Bill" Granacki who preceded her on January 20, 2018.  
Surviving are her son, Jeffrey (Sue) Granacki of Michigan City, IN; daughter, Christine (Jason) Roof of Valparaiso, IN; five grandchildren, Alex Granacki, Ashley Roof, Jacob Roof, Joshua Roof, and Zachary Roof; great-grandchild, Isabella Granacki; and 4 nieces and 1 nephew.  
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Marsh.  
Phyllis lived in Michigan City, IN, most of her life.  Her favorite job was working at St. Mary's School in the 1980s as their secretary.  She loved sewing and quilt making, but what gave her the most joy was taking care of her family and her devout Catholic faith.  She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, in Michigan City, Indiana.
