Jennie L. Huskey, 80, from Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at 1:19 pm in her home.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, October 28, 2024, at
Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN, with Pastor Samuel Geckler officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Lake Cemetery, La Porte, IN. Visitation will be from 9:00 am - 11:00 am, Monday at the funeral chapel.
She was born March 11, 1944, in Danville, IL to the late George and Sarah (Boots) Morgan. On March 12, 1962, in New Buffalo, MI she married Vearl Huskey who survives in Michigan City, IN. Three daughters, Alice Howe, Cheryl Huskey, and Justine (Mark, Sr.) Newkirk, also survives all of Michigan City, IN; their son, Keven Huskey of Michigan City, IN; and three grandchildren, Matthew Howe, Adam Howe, and Mark Newkirk, Jr.
She was also preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.
Jennie enjoyed playing euchre and video games. She was an excellent cook and a loving mother.
