Sally A. Janowski, 73, from Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at 4:02 pm in Franciscan Health - Michigan City, Michigan City, IN.
Private family services will be conducted. The burial will take place in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN, is handling arrangements.
She was born August 5, 1951, in Chicago, IL to the late Andrew and Marilyn (Eckert) Lundmark, Sr.. On October 25, 1969, in Michigan City, IN, she married Thomas Janowski who survives in Michigan City, IN.
Also surviving are a daughter, Tami Janowski of Michigan City, IN; son, Keith Janowski of Michigan City, IN; and cousin, Jennifer (Adam) Skaggs of Fort Wayne, IN.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Andrew Lundmark, Jr.
She was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church where she also volunteered. Sally coached softball and cheerleading and also taught physical education at St. Stanislaus School. She loved to vacation in Daytona Beach, FL. The family would like to acknowledge Dr. Arfeen and the I.C.U. staff at Franciscan Health-Michigan City for their care.
