Jeffrey E Perrin

Jeffrey E. Perrin, February 25, 1959-October 18, 2024.

Jeffrey E. Perrin, born on February 25, 1959, in Elwood, Indiana, left this world on October 18, 2024, at his home, surrounded by his loving family after a short but courageous battle with cancer. He is remembered deeply by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Jeff was a dedicated family man who cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren Ricky Santana III, Caiden Santana, Makynlee Santana, Kamryn Perrin, Marshall Perrin, Kylan Holmquest, Carter Holmquest, Josh Holmquest, Daisy Holmquest, Dalilah Holmquest, and Avrum Holmquest. His artistic nature and practical skills as a handyman made him an invaluable resource in the family. They allowed him to pass on these talents to his grandchildren, inspiring them in countless ways.  A passionate sports enthusiast, Jeff was particularly fond of the Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears, and Chicago Bulls, with a special admiration for Michael Jordan. He found joy in playing volleyball, and bowling, and took up golf later in life, discovering a knack for the sport that surprised even him. At home, he enjoyed engaging his mind with word games and crossword puzzles, reflecting his curious spirit and love for challenges.

Surviving Jeff are his parents, Lecil and Lylith; his daughter, Nicole (Ricky) Santana; his sons, Kevin (Nicole) Holmquest and Ryan Perrin; his sister, Kelly (Greg) Dwyer; former wife, Kim Perrin; and sister-in-law, Tammy (John) Spears; as well as sister-in-law, Angela Roberts. He will be missed by his many grandchildren and great-nephew, Mason Bunten, along with his beloved nieces Ashlynn Roberts and Morgan (Brad) Bunten.

He joins in eternal rest his cherished sons, Joshua Holmquest and Jeremy Perrin, and his brother, Michael Perrin, whose memories will forever remain alive in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

Jeff's graveside service will take place on October 22, 2024, at Pine Lake Cemetery in La Porte, Indiana, commencing at 2:00 PM with Pastor Bob Vale officiating. As we gather to celebrate Jeff's life, let us remember him not only for his talents and hobbies but for the warmth and love he brought to every interaction. His legacy will continue to live on in the lives of his family and friends, who are profoundly grateful for the time they shared with him.
