Charles “Chuck” Allen Fairfield born December 27, 1956, in Gary, Indiana, passed away October 15, 2024, with family by his side.  Charles was born to Charles and Ruth Fairfield.

Charles was preceded in death by his father, Charles “Shorty” Fairfield; mother, Ruth Fairfield; sister, Wanda Harper; and brother-in-law, James Harper. Chuck is survived by his daughter, Kimberly Fairfield; brother, Steven (Sonia) Fairfield; grandchildren, Michael, Melody, and Matthew; nieces, Kasie (Greg) Flores and Jessica (Ron) Papke; nephew, Michael Fairfield; and great-nephews, Sam, Collin, Hunter, Claire, Skylar, and Scarlett.

Charles loved watching sports, especially Notre Dame Football and the Chicago Bears. He enjoyed reading and putting together puzzles. He was a resident at Silver Birch in Michigan City and was very active with helping in the building.

A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana, has been entrusted with the arrangements.
