Dorothy M. Trojan, 88, from Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, 

October 1, 2024, at 12:49 am in Franciscan Health - Michigan City.  
Private family services will be conducted. The burial will take place in Greenwood Cemetery.  The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.  
She was born February 23, 1936, in Michigan City, IN to the late Jacob and Florentine (Pizarek) Flick. On May 23, 1958, in Michigan City, IN she married August Trojan who preceded her on March 18, 1984.  
Surviving are a daughter, Barbara (Thomas) Trojan Piechnik of Michigan City, IN; two sons, Stephen Trojan and Joseph (Sandy) Trojan, both of Michigan City, IN; five grandchildren, Joseph Trojan, Linda (Dan) Oster, Bryanna Boles, Alyssa (Mark) Davis and Ryan (Karinne) Trojan; several great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.  She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Susann Trojan;  and grandchild, Thomas Trojan.  
Dorothy was a farmer and an electrician. She was a member of St. Ann of the Dunes Catholic Church, Beverly Shores, IN. Dorothy enjoyed golfing, bowling, traveling, and working on the farm.
