Danny Kenneth Werdine, 69, of Michigan City, IN, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at his home.  Danny was born on May 11, 1955, in Michigan City, IN, to Kenneth and Dorothy "Joann" (Moore) Werdine.  

Surviving are his mother and niece, Kaley Werdine.  He was preceded in death by his father and sister, Cathy L. Werdine.  

Danny graduated from Purdue University in 1981 with a bachelor's degree and in 1988 with a master's degree.  He was a teacher and, most recently, a property manager for Empenum Property Management.  Danny was a member of the National Education Society and the Indiana Teachers Association.  

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte, with burial at Greenwood Cemetery, Michigan City.  At a later date, a private family service will take place at St. John's United Church of Christ, Michigan City.
