Mildred Alberta Schroeder, 90, of La Porte, IN, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2024, at Franciscan Health-Michigan City.  

Mildred was born on June 23, 1934, in East Chicago, IN, to Earl and Vera (Lengyel) Gray.

On July 25, 1953, she married Thompson Faye Schroeder who preceded her in death.  Surviving are her 4 children, Tracy Schroeder of La Porte, Trinette Schroeder of Union Mills, Terrill (Jan) Schroeder of Andover, MN, Trent (Sandy) Schroeder of Union Mills; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; 1 sibling; as well as many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.  

Mildred worked as a baker for many years.
