Ronald A. Skwiat, Jr., 58, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2024, at 12:27 am in his home.
A celebration of life and lunch will be from 1:00 pm - to 4:00 pm on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at the American Legion Skwiat Post 451, 121 Skwiat Legion Ave., Michigan City, IN. He was born October 8, 1965, in Michigan City, IN to Ronald and Margaret (Hostetler) Skwiat, Sr.
Surviving are a daughter, Cassandra (Thaddeus) Stone of La Porte, IN; son, Chad (Amy) Skwiat of Michigan City, IN; two grandchildren, Cayden Moore and Cailey Skwiat-Stone; his mother, Margaret Gloy of Michigan City, IN; three sisters, Starr Ayers of Ogden, IL, Valorie Skwiat of Michigan City, IN and Rhonda (Larry) Lain of La Porte, IN; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Skwiat, Sr.
Ronald had worked as an electrician and as a machinist. He enjoyed golfing, the outdoors, and fixing things.
