Reba Dean Typpi

Reba Dean Typpi, 87, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away peacefully at her home on September 19, 2024.

Reba was born on March 22, 1937, in Trumann, AR, to Woodroe Stotts and Mary Lavelle (Garner) Thomas.

On September 2, 1983, in Michigan City, IN, she married Michael H. Typpi who survives. Also surviving are her son, Michael T. (Lisa) Typpi of La Porte; stepsons, Gary (Kay) England and Danny (Sharon) England; grandchildren, Scott (Brittany) Typpi, Samantha (Craig) Stidham, and Seth Typpi; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Melvin (Debbie) Stotts; sister-in-law, Sue England; and nieces, Misty (Edwin) Franklin and Barbie Jo (Jim) Dreher.  She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Carla Eliott.

Reba worked as a waitress, a seamstress, and for Sullair before she retired.  She enjoyed cooking and sewing.  

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Noon on Monday, September 23, 2024, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.  Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Michigan City.  A time of visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home.  

Memorial donations may be made to Evergreen Baptist Church, 2005 E. Coolspring Ave., Michigan City, IN  46360.
