Terry Wayne Snyder, 80 passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024, in Sebring, Florida.

He was born on December 12, 1943, in Sullivan, Indiana, the son of the late George and Mary (Sullivan) Snyder.

He was a loving husband to Geraldine (Hubner) Synder and a caring father to Dawn Chlebowski of LaPorte, Indiana, Laura Stoewer of LaPorte, Indiana, and Pamela Dickey of Delray Beach, Florida. He was also a grandfather to four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Shannon Snyder.

Terry proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. He worked for over 30 years for Teledyne Casting in LaPorte, Indiana, and retired from GenRock in Sebring, Florida.

It brought joy to Terry going on cruises with his wife, Geri, with whom he shared a bond of deep love and devotion.

 

Geraldine (Geri) Snyder, 76 of Sebring, Florida, formerly of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Thursday, September 5, 2024.  

She was born on March 25, 1948, in La Porte to the late Harriette (Schultz) and Alfred Hubner.

Geri graduated from Rolling Prairie High School in the class of 1966. She was an Insurance agent starting her career with the former Campbell Insurance in LaPorte and retired from Heacock Insurance Group in Sebring, Florida after a career of over 30 years.  In 1989, she married the love of her life Terry Snyder who preceded her in death on April 8, 2024.  Surviving are daughters, Laura Stoewer of La Porte, Pamela Dickey of Delray Beach, Florida, and Dawn Chlebowski of La Porte; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Lorriane Schoff, Diane Hubner, Robert (Hubner) Helfer, and Daughter, Shannon Snyder.

Visitation for Geri and Terry will be held from 11 AM to 1 PM on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana.  A Memorial service for Geri and Terry will begin at 1 PM following the visitation in the funeral home on Saturday.  Burial will follow at Patton Cemetery, La Porte, Indiana.
