Katherine A. Davis, 64, Michigan City, IN, passed away Monday, August 5, 2024 at 10:30 am in Munster Community Hospital, Munster, IN.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, August 12, 2024 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN with Brother Shaun Gray CSC officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 am - 11:00 am, Monday at the funeral chapel.
She was born July 22, 1960 in Michigan City, IN to Donald and Karen (Tatarski) Yeakey. On October 21, 1998 in Sevierville, TN she married John W. Davis who survives in Michigan City, IN.
Also surviving are a daughter, Ashley (Eric Berg) Oliver of Mishawaka, IN; step-son, John A. (Jennifer) Davis of Mill Creek, IN; two step-daughters, Kim (Mark) Latchford of Valparaiso, IN and Heather (Ernie) Sasser of Portage, IN; her father, Donald Yeakey of Michigan City, IN; 13 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and her brother, John (Colette) Yeakey of Culver, IN.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Karen Yeakey; son, Jason L. Oliver; and sister, Ann Marie Itzoe.
Katherine was a homemaker and attended St. Stanislaus Catholic Church. She enjoyed cooking, swimming, fishing, crocheting and making tamales.
