David Patrick Heiden

February 13, 1968 - July 10, 2024

 

David Patrick Heiden, 56, passed away on July 10, 2024, at the Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, Indiana.

He was born February 13, 1968, at the Holy Family Hospital in La Porte, Indiana.

David was a very spirited, charming and funny individual who sought inclusion and a good adventure.

He participated in 4-H, loved attending the country music performances at the county fair and Grand Old Opry. His passion for Notre Dame was extraordinary. David was also a Chicago Cubs fan. He loved Italian food, hot dogs, his brother in-laws cooking, social gatherings including family and friends.

He loved his aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. David was always up to sharing a good joke.

David had challenges in his life from day one and fought against them until the end.

He is survived by his father, Ronald W. (Susan Bargholz, deceased) Heiden of Gainesville, FL; Katrina J. (Patrick) Wieland of Gainesville, FL; and uncles Larry (Barb) Heiden of Sarasota, FL; Donald (Mary deceased) Heiden of Mishawaka, IN; Stephen (Pamela deceased) Malec of South Bend, IN; Kevin (Tammy) Bargholz of La Porte, IN; and many cousins across the country.

Proceeding in death his brother Gregory S. Heiden and his Aunt Judi & Uncle Jerry Otter.

David will be cremated. A private graveside service will be held at Pine Lake Cemetery La Porte, IN. Lakeview Funeral Home & Crematory, 247 W. Johnson Rd., La Porte, IN, (219) 362-3100 is caring for the arrangements.
