Bridget L. Cadwell

Bridget L. Cadwell, 56, La Porte, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at 5:26 am in her home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN with Rev. John Zemelko officiating. Visitation will be from 9:00 am - 11:00 am, Thursday at the funeral chapel.

She was born May 1, 1968 in La Porte, IN to Frank and Marilyn (Distel) Thiery.

On May 25, 1997 in Las Vegas, NV she married David "Boonie" Cadwell who survives in La Porte, IN.

Also surviving are her son, Brandon (Jennifer) Bell of Valparaiso, IN; two grandchildren, Briseis and, Alexandria Bell; mother, Marilyn Pokorny of La Porte, IN; sister, Brenda Thiery of Michigan City, IN; and her brother, Robert (Hazel) Wilson of Michigan City, IN.

She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Thiery; sister, Candy Clay; and her step-father, Edward Pokorny.

Bridget retired as a printing and mail supervisor at Purdue University North Central, Westville, IN. She enjoyed helping others and loved all animals.
