Tina L. Sonderby

June 21, 1945 - June 25, 2024

Tina L. Sonderby, 79, Long Beach, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2024 at 6:45 pm in her home.

A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.

She was born June 21, 1945 in Evergreen Park, IL to the late George and Willa (Allar dice) Sindelar.

On August 26, 1967 in Chicago, IL she married Stephen Sonderby who preceded her on December 19, 2000.

Surviving are a daughter, Elizabeth (Clint) Marler of Chesterton, IN; son, Robert (Carol) Sonderby of Brookfield, IL; and grandchildren, Leah, Samantha, Stephanie and Avarie.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, Robert "Bob" Sindelar. Tina was a retired educator.

She was a member of Long Beach Country Club. Tina enjoyed traveling, golfing, bowling and reading.

She had an uncanny way ability to reach people in a deep positive way. Her sense of humor and quick wit always kept people on their toes and laughing.
