Thomas Michael Manzi, 60, of Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Thursday, June 20th, 2024, at his home in Michigan City, IN.

 

He was born on April 28th, 1964, in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Michael and Jill (Ebert) Manzi.

 

Thomas lived in Illinois, Northwest Indiana, and Southern Michigan all of his life, so he considered himself a true mid-westerner. He worked as an auto body refinishing technician for a private mechanic. Thomas was an avid Chicago Blackhawks fan, loved riding his Harley, and enjoyed listening to classic rock music. A dog lover, he was especially attached to his pup, Harley, although he had several other dogs along the way.

 

Thomas is survived by his daughter, Jaclyn (Michael) McGovern of Evergreen Park, IL; sister, Sheri (Lyle) Benavides of Cushing, OK; niece, Cameron Signorello of Chicago, IL; his significant other, Theresa Winters of Michigan City and her children and grandchildren Kaleb, Summer, Layla, Chloe, Eli, Landen, Mason, Kane, Jackson, Kameryn, Michael, Benjerman, Ellyot, Mackenzie, Peyton, Timothy, Isabelle, Dexter, and Rose.

 

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Tammy Signorello.

 

Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN. The family has selected cremation.
