Oscar Lee Henn

Oscar Lee Henn, 77, Westville, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, May 29th, 2024, at 9:51 pm in his home.

 

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, June 6th, 2024, at Full Gospel Church, 2700 Ohio St., Michigan City, IN with  Pastor Dennis Pickens officiating. Burial will follow in Westville Cemetery with Full Military Honors.  Visitation will be from 4:00 pm -7:00 pm, Wednesday at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN, and from 10:00 am - 11:00 am Thursday at the church.    

 

He was born October 21st, 1946, in Mount Vernon, IL to the late Henry and Lily (Pickett) Henn. On December 31st, 1966, in Michigan City, IN he married Susan Rowley who survives.

 

Also surviving are his daughter, Julie (Glen) Davison of Plaza, ND; grandchildren, Brittany (Jeremy) Davison, Krystin (Kyle) Agonis, Mandie Davison and Colton Davison; great-grandchildren, Rylann Agonis and Remi Agonis; two sisters, Nancy Dagg of Alabama and Linda Bigley of Illinois; and his brother, Larry (Julia) Henn, Sr. of Mount Vernon, IL.

 

He was also preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Henn; sisters, Judy Stewart and Patty Carder; and brothers, Jerry, Douglas, Roger, Donald, William, and Gene Henn.   

Lee retired after 33 years as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service and was a U.S. Army Veteran of Vietnam. He was a member of Full Gospel Church and a life member of V.F.W. Post 2536. Lee enjoyed watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune, attending church, and being with his family.
