Patrick Golik, 78, of La Porte, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 12th, 2024, at his home.

 

He was born May 23rd, 1945, in Chicago, to John and Genevieve (Frankowski) Golik.

 

On October 2nd, 1998, he married Annette (Peaks) Golik, who survives.

 

Patrick’s passion was working on cars, the older the better. He loved to travel places, and as a truck driver, he was able to go places such as Wisconsin, Las Vegas, and Key West. Patrick also had a love for motorcycles, especially Harleys.

 

Patrick is survived by his wife, Annette; daughter, Tammy Chandler Galko; son, Patrick Golik Jr.; son-in-law, James Chandler; sisters, Angie Mangus and Jeanie Krawczyk; step-brother, Greg Rancatori; grandchildren, Patrick John Harmon, Gabrielle Chandler, and Emily Chandler; grandson-in-law, Wyatt Dalton; and a great-grandson, Liam Dalton.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Angie Golik; and siblings, Helen, Angie, and Mike.
