Michael T. Humphrey

Michael T. Humphrey, 58, passed away on Sunday, April 14th, 2024, at Brickyard Healthcare-Terrace Care Center.

 

Michael was born on February 11th, 1966, in La Porte, IN, to George Humphrey, Jr. and Marilyn (Steiner) Tindle.

 

Surviving Michael are his daughter, Joellan (Lawrence) Wallace; mother, Marilyn Tindle; sisters, Maxi Schultz and Gina Bernacchi; brother, John Humphrey; significant other of over 20 years, Jan Foltz; grandchildren, Kaylee Whiteman, Kinora Wallace, Damarion Whiteman, Kamiyah Wallace, and Kiyah'na Wallace; great-grandchild, Harmony Human; uncle, Stanley Steiner; step-brothers, Lynn (Kim) Tindle and Marty Tindle; as well as many nieces and nephews.

 

He was preceded in death by his father and step-mother, George (Sandy) Humphrey, Jr; brother, George Humphrey, III; uncle, Steve Steiner; step-father, R. T. Tindle; and grandparents, George (Coleen) Humphrey, Sr. and Arlie (Dorothy) Steiner.

 

Michael worked in construction for many years.  He enjoyed NASCAR, Cubs games, and cooking.

 

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.
