Christine Renee Jarrett, 67, of Rolling Prairie, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, March 27th, 2024, at Northwest Health-La Porte.

 

Christine was born in La Porte, IN, on February 25th, 1957, to Charles R. and Catherine B. (Zollinger) Jarrett, Sr. 

 

Surviving are her daughter, Janeen (Randy) Messer of La Porte; son, Justin Jarrett of Michigan City; grandchildren, Jagger (Skylar) and Desney (Jose) Comstock, Wyatt, Zayda and Chris Messer, Oakley, Zyon, and Kori Jarrett; brothers, William Jarrett, Jerry (Darlene) Jarrett, Chuck Jarrett, Bob (Julaine) Jarrett ; as well as nieces and nephews, Kalyn and Grace Jarrett, Jordan and Caleb Stowers, and Kyle and Griffin Jarrett.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

 

Christine was a production worker for Stelrema Corporation.  She enjoyed reading especially her favorite author, James Patterson, watching NCIS and Criminal Minds, and doing arts and crafts.  She loved listening to music, particularly Luke Bryan and Tim McGraw.   Most of all, Christine loved spoiling her grandbabies.

 

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.

 

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 20th, 2024, at Gate City Church, La Porte.

 

A time of visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
