Julius Bauer

 

November 3rd, 1933 - March 27th, 2024,

 

Julius was born November 3rd, 1933, in South Bend, Indiana, the son of John and Helen (Masszi) Bauer.

 

He graduated Class of 1952 from Central High School in South Bend. He served in the Air Force from 1952 – 1960. He retired from U.S. Steel in Gary. After retiring from the Mill, he and his wife opened and operated J.I.B. Lawn and Cleaning Services.

 

On April 13th, 1957, Julius married Ilona (Kadi) Bauer, who preceded him in death on December 12th, 2014. Julius is survived by a son, Thomas (Lynsae) Bauer; a daughter, Mary (Greg) Bucy; four grandsons; seven great-grandchildren.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a brother, John Bauer, and a great-grandson.

 

Private family services and burial will be held.
