Cathy M. Putz, 71, La Porte, Indiana, passed away Monday, March 18th, 2024, at 6:31 pm in her home.
Private family services will be conducted. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.
She was born March 17th, 1953, in Michigan City, IN to the late Clarence and Joan (Bednarz) Putz. She married Nicholas Rebac who preceded her in death on August 25, 2022.
Surviving are her brother, Richard (Terry) Putz of Saint John, IN; two step-sons, Brian (Stacey) Rebac and Brett Rebac both of Michigan City, IN; niece, Rene (Chuck Gullett) Putz of Chicago, IL; and her nephew, Ryan Putz of Woodlands, TX.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, Jerome Putz.
Cathy had worked as a bookkeeper, and also the caregiver for her father, mother, and husband. She enjoyed pool time with many friends and most especially being a loving aunt to her nephew and niece whom she spent much time together.
