Annette Marie Scroggin, 75, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away on January 27th, 2024, at Hamilton Communities.

 

Annette was born in Michigan City, Indiana on October 20, 1948, to William and Hazel (Krueger) Glick.

 

On November 25th, 1972, in Michigan City, Indiana, she married Michael Scroggin who survives. Also surviving are her sister, Patty Tibbs of Michigan City; brother, William Glick of New Buffalo, MI; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved furbabies, Sunshine Shadow, Snickers Marie, and Sunshine Rose.

 

Annette worked many years as a supervisor at Bethlehem Credit Union.  She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of La Porte and the Michigan City Senior Center.  Annette enjoyed her volunteer time at the former St. Anthony Hospital and at Dunebrook.  She will be fondly remembered for her enjoyment of attending Rick Springfield concerts and getting the opportunity to sit on stage.

 

A Service Of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 04th, 2024, at St. John's Lutheran Church with Pastor John Albers officiating.

 

A time of visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Sunday at the church. Cremation will take place following the service.

 

Memorial donations may be made to the preschool play area project at St. John's Lutheran Church, 111 Kingsbury Ave.,  La Porte, IN 46350.
