Pamela Lynn Dixon

Pamela Lynn Dixon, 55, of Rolling Prairie, Indiana, passed away Saturday, December 30th, 2023, at Brickyard Terrace Care Center, La Porte, IN. 

 

She was born December 7th, 1968, in La Porte, Indiana, the daughter of Ralph Everill and Myrna (Hunt) Everill.

 

A lifelong resident of the area, Pam attended New Prairie High School, graduating in 1988.  She was a member of the Rolling Prairie United Methodist Church, where she was involved with the United Women in Faith. Pam was also a member of Christian Women and the Stone Croft Bible Study. She worked at Dollar General and Burger King, but her most important job was that of caregiver for her daughter and mother. She enjoyed going to the movies, crafting pom pom items, and baking Christmas cookies with friends.  Pam was a huge fan of The Dukes of Hazzard, collecting posters that she hung on her bedroom walls. 

 

She is survived by her mother, Myrna Everill; daughter, Lisa Tucker of Rolling Prairie, IN; two loving sisters, Cheri (Dave) Ringer of Plymouth, IN, Linnaea (John) Arford of New Haven, IN; niece, Aimee Ringer and her children, Heidi and Scarlett and niece MacKenzie (Alex White) Arford.

 

Pamela was preceded in death by her father, Ralph; a daughter, Angela Tucker, and son Jonathan Tucker.

 

Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN. On Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024, at Rolling Prairie United Methodist Church, 3444 E. US Hwy 20, Rolling Prairie, IN 46371, the family will welcome friends from 10:00 - 11:00 for a gathering, with a memorial service to follow at 11:00, all central time. Pastor JoEllyn Chadwick will officiate the service.
