Terri Jean Alban, 63, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, December 28th, 2023 at Northwest Health-La Porte.

 

Terri was born in La Porte, IN, on November 9th, 1960, to Phillip and Barbara (Fowler) Alban.

 

Surviving Terri are her parents, Phillip and Barbara Alban; 2 sisters, Julie (Shawn) Hannon and Cindy (Roger) Jackson, all of La Porte; 2 nieces, Erin and Haley Hannon, both of La Porte; as well as her beloved dog, Daisy Mae.

 

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mildred and Charlie Fowler and Ethel Bailey; and special uncle, Bill Fowler.

 

Terri spent many years as an office manager for the La Porte Moose Lodge 492 and the Michigan City Moose Lodge 980.

 

She was an avid Elvis fan, enjoying being able to attend the Elvis Tribute Week at Graceland with her Elvis family.  Terri dearly loved dogs and took great care to rescue those in need.  She was the mother to many fur babies and a member of Beagle Rescue.

 

Terri was very spiritual and believed in guardian angels.  She was a collector of angels.

 

She will be fondly remembered for her very generous and giving heart.  Terri fiercely loved her family. Above all else, Terri was extremely loyal.

 

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.

 

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, January 8th, 2024, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.  Inurnment will take place at Pine Lake Cemetery following the service, followed by a time of fellowship and refreshment at the Moose Lodge, 925 Boyd Blvd., La Porte, IN.

 

Terri's visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Monday at the funeral home.
