Steven Lee Wallen, 54, of Michigan City Indiana passed away Tuesday, December 26th, 2023. He was born on July 21st, 1969, in Michigan City to the late Leonard Wallen and Linda Smith of La Porte, Indiana. 

 

Surviving with his mother is a half-brother, Shane Smith, and step-brother, Joseph Smith of La Porte, Indiana. He was preceded in death by his father and half-brothers, Bill Wallen and Scott Smith; and a half-sister, Betty Lang. 

 

Steven graduated in 1987 from Westville High School. He worked as a Casino Director in Florida for 20 years before returning to the area in 2019. 

 

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 3rd, 2024, at Agape Christian Church, 1601 I. Street, La Porte, Indiana.

 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel in La Porte, Indiana.
