Adele Mae Fontanelli

Adele Mae Fontanelli, 75, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, December 20th, 2023, at the University of Chicago Hospital.

 

Adele was born in Monongahela, PA, on September 18th, 1948, to Michael and Stella (King) Ayers.

 

Surviving Adele are her 2 sons, Paul Fontanelli and Mark Ayers; 2 granddaughters, Kristina Fontanelli and Macy Ayers; brother, Ken Ayers of Palm Springs, CA; sister, Marlyn Cantini of Rock Creek, OH; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents.

 

Adele was an inspector for many years at Howmet. She was a member of Holy Family Parish-Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where she was active in planning and implementing funeral luncheons.  Adele enjoyed attending plays and festivals with her friends.  Most importantly, Adele enjoyed spending time with her family and cats.

 

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.

 

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 6th, 2024, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center.

 

A time of visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
