Pamela Ann Smith, 75, passed away on Tuesday, December 12th, 2023, at her home.

 

Pamela was born on July 20th, 1948, in La Porte, IN, to Lawrence and Velma (Irwin) Peterson.

 

On May 6th, 1967, in La Porte, IN, she married John Smith, who preceded her in death. Surviving Pamela are her 4 sons, Jason, Adam (Stephanie), Chris, and Eric; 1 grandson, Jay; sister, Valorie; 2 brothers, Dale and Garry; as well as many nieces and nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Velma Peterson; husband, John Smith; and brother, Lawrence Smith, Jr.

 

Pamela worked for over 30 years at La Porte Hospital, working within various departments.  She enjoyed traveling, reading, cooking, gardening, and, most importantly, spending time with her family.

 

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.
