Deborah Lee Johnson, 60, passed away on Monday, December 4th, 2023, at her home, surrounded by family.

 

She was born on December 26th, 1962, in Valparaiso, IN to Geordia and Olive Johnson.

 

Deborah is survived by her daughter, Peggy Johnson of La Porte; grandsons, Gerald, Jackson, and Jason Johnson; great-grandsons, Carson and Carter Johnson; sisters, Betty, Helen, Mary, Sandy, Carrie, Peggy, Jody, and Susan; brothers, Sam, Bob, George, Tom, Jim, Jr., Bub, and Terry; as well as many nieces and nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Geordia and Olive Johnson; daughter, Patricia Johnson; and siblings, Janet, John, Dick, Geneva, Paullette, Carol, and Paul.

 

Deborah worked in housekeeping for many years.  She enjoyed going to the beach and taking walks.  Most importantly, Deborah enjoyed spending time with her grandsons.

 

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.
