Worth Robert Anderson (Bob) passed away on November 1st, 2023, at Hamilton Grove Nursing Center in New Carlisle, Indiana where he had resided since suffering from the effects of a stroke in November 2020. 

 

Bob was born July 19th, 1948, to David and Louise (Worth) Anderson of Rolling Prairie, Indiana. Bob was a member of the Rolling Prairie High School Class of 1966. He graduated from Indiana University Bloomington in 1971, with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. He served as a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army Signal Corps.

 

Bob was retired from Kerlin Bus Sales in Silver Lake, Indiana. He was an active member of the Valparaiso Nazarene Church and was known as a fully devoted follower of Christ. 

 

He leaves behind his wife of 51 years, Pam; two daughters, Tricia (Terry) Burkins, and Jennifer (Jason) Barnhart of Rolling Prairie, Indiana; and his son, Jay (Erin) Anderson of Peoria, Arizona. He is also survived by his brother, William (Sherry) Anderson of Scottsdale, Arizona; eight grandsons, Alex, Max, and Ethan Walden, Gavin, Landon, and Wesley Barnhart, Chace and Raven Anderson; and two granddaughters, Cora and Avery Barnhart.

 

A Celebration of Life will take place at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, November 9th, 2023, at the Valparaiso Nazarene Church, 2702 East Glendale Boulevard, Valparaiso, Indiana 46383. Everyone is welcome to a reception that will follow the Celebration of Life at the church.

 

Memorial contributions may be made to the Valparaiso Nazarene Church or Bella Vita Pregnancy Center, 1006 S. Edgewood Drive, Knox, Indiana 46534.
