Linda Kay Johnson, 77, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, October 31st, 2023, at her home, surrounded by family

 

Linda was born in Kennett, MO, on June 15th, 1946, to Noah Sullivan and Martha (Cooper) Stevens.

 

She is survived by her 3 children, Christina Johnson of La Porte, Steven Johnson of Louisville, KY, and John Johnson of La Porte; granddaughter, Sabrina Johnson of La Porte; sister, Melba Bettuo of Westville; brother, Ralph Sullivan of TN; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

 

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Martha Stevens and Noah Sullivan; sisters, Doris Hall, Georgia Metcalf, Paula Sullivan, and Pat Sullivan; and brothers, Jack Sullivan, Jerry Sullivan, and John L. Sullivan.

 

She worked as a finisher for many years at Howmet.  Outside of work, Linda enjoyed reading, trivia, and history.  More than anything else, Linda dearly loved her family and spending time with them. 

 

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.

 

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 11th, 2023, at Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center with Rev. James Leonard Johnson officiating.

 

A time of visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
