Eva Helen Collings, 92, passed away on Monday, October 30th, 2023, at Millers Merry Manor-New Carlisle.

 

Eva was born on January 29th, 1931, in Sullivan Co., IN to Charles and Grace (Flynn) Alexander.

 

On November 7th, 1952, in La Porte, IN, she married Jack who survives. Also surviving are her 2 children, Bart (Carol) Collings of New Carlisle and Carleen Collings of TN; grandchild, Aaron Collings;  as well as many nieces and nephews.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents and several siblings.

 

Eva enjoyed her work at Kingsbury Meat Processing, where she made hamburger patties.  She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and cooking.  Mostly, Eva enjoyed spending time and creating memories with her family.

 

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
