Elizabeth Marie Hofstetter

Elizabeth Marie Hofstetter, 62, passed away on July 16th, 2023 from injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident. 

 

She was born in Norfolk, Virginia on October 6th, 1960 to Robert and Ann Gilpatrick Hart. Elizabeth graduated from Tabb High School, Norfolk Virginia in 1979 and earned a Bachelor’s degree in business administration from  The University of Tennessee in 1983. 

 

Elizabeth is survived by her husband, Anthony , son Andrew, daughter Rachel Hofstetter, mother Ann Hart, sisters in law Nancy Christensen and Leslie (Brian) Biggs and loving nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews. 

 

Elizabeth was employed by JP Morgan Chase as the Managing Director, Illinois HR Market Head and head of HR for Firm wide and Consumer & Community Bank Marketing and Controls for many years.

 

She enjoyed many hobbies, including  sewing, knitting boating, traveling with her family and friends, was an avid scuba diver and nature lover.

 

She was dearly loved and will be profoundly missed by all that knew her. 

 

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 9th, 2023 at 10:30 EST at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 718 W. Buffalo Street, New Buffalo, MI 49117. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.
