Miss Jane A. Blohm, 89, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Monday, August 14th, 2023 at Brickyard Care Center in La Porte, IN.

 

She was born August 9th, 1934 in La Porte, Indiana, the daughter of Herbert Blohm and Minnie (Newman) Blohm.

 

A lifelong resident of the area, Jane graduated from high school. She was a member of the St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church. During WWII, she worked for Allis-Chalmers, La Porte as well as being a full-time homemaker.

 

Jane was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Bernice Blohm and Lois O'Brien.

 

Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN. Jane will be laid to rest next to her sister, Bernice, at Pine Lake Cemetery, La Porte.
