Wilma June Keene, 93, Michigan City, Indiana, passed away Saturday, July 29th, 2023, at 6:12 pm in Rittenhouse Senior Living of Michigan City.
Private services will be conducted. Burial will take place in Swan Lake Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, Friday, August 4th, 2023, at the Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington St., Michigan City, IN.
She was born August 23rd, 1929, in Michigan City, IN to the late Wilhelm and Minnie (McKee) Schumacher. On November 21st, 1950, in Michigan City, IN she married Richard Keene who preceded her on October 6th, 2005.
Surviving are her son, Darren (Kerri Comstock) Keene of Lake Forest, CA; special nephew, Jack Rosenkranz of Chicago, IL; and other nieces and nephews. She had a sister, Betty Jean Rosenkranz, and a brother, William Schumacher.
Wilma had worked as an office administrator. She was an avid reader, a dedicated caregiver, and enjoyed dancing.
