Christopher J. Mauger, 56, Gary, Indiana, passed away Thursday, June 8th, 2023 at 6:29 pm in his home.

 

Private family services will be conducted. The Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, Michigan City, IN is handling arrangements.

 

He was born January 9th, 1967 in Hammond, IN

 

Surviving are his mother, Barbara Stedman of Michigan City, IN; two sisters, Nancy (Patrick) Wright and Margaret (George Friedrich) Jakelski both of Michigan City, IN; niece, Alora Jakelski; nephew, Merrick Jakelski; and several loved aunts, uncles and cousins, and close friends Lloyd and Lisa.

 

He was preceded in death by his father, Elmer Mauger.

 

Christopher had worked as a handyman and enjoyed anything with an engine, steam trains and dogs.
