Stephen Edward Blazek, 84, passed away on Sunday, June 18th, 2023 at Northwest Health - La Porte.

 

Stephen was born on August 9th, 1938 in Chicago, IL, to Stephen and Mary (Klobubar) Blazek.

 

On June 27, he married Dorothy Bubalo, who survives.  Also surviving are his children, Stephen (Mary) Blazek of La Porte, Daniel Blazek of Whiting, Scott (Kelly) Blazek of Calumet Township, and Kim Williamson of Whiting; many grandchildren; several brothers and sisters; as well as many nieces and nephews.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings.

 

Stephen was a pipe fitter for over 30 years at the General Mills Cereal Plant, Chicago.  His family will affectionately remember Stephen as a "professional aggravator".

 

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.
