Brother Ronald Franklin Quire

Brother Ronald Franklin Quire, affectionately known as Brother Ronald, passed away peacefully on May 28th, 2023, in La Porte, Indiana, just three days shy of his 78th birthday. Born on May 31st, 1945, in Jeffersontown, Kentucky, he was a faith-filled, spirited, and loving man who touched the lives of many throughout his lifetime.

 

Brother Ronald is survived by his loving wife, Betsy (Romans) Quire of La Porte, Indiana; his daughter, Geneva (Johnny Maglio) Kuprion; his son, Ronald Quire of Canada; his step-daughter, Kelly Maglio of La Porte; his grandchildren, Natalie Kuprion, Lana Williams, and Samantha Quire; and his great-grandson, Ethan. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Robert Kuprion.

 

Brother Ronald proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy before dedicating his life to the ministry. He was a former pastor at Bethlehem Evangelical Church in Louisville, Kentucky, and a member of Harvest Church of God in Louisville. His unwavering faith and commitment to his congregation left a lasting impact on those who had the privilege of knowing him. In addition to his service in the church, Brother Ronald enjoyed a fulfilling career at American Standard, from which he eventually retired.

 

Brother Ronald's passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew him, but his memory will live on through the countless lives he touched. His faith-filled spirit, loving nature, and unwavering commitment to his family, friends, and community will never be forgotten. As we mourn the loss of Brother Ronald, we also celebrate the life of a man who truly made a difference in this world.

 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel in La Porte. Cremation has taken place.
