Frank Robert Buss, 80, peacefully passed away on Sunday, April 30, 2023 at his home.

 

Frank was born on February 7th, 1943 in La Porte, IN, to Frank  and MayEtta (Littleton) Buss.

 

On May 25th, 1991 in La Porte, IN, he married Jasmine L. Quandt who survives.  Also surviving are his children, Robert A. Buchwalter of Elkhart, Paul R. (Paula) Leonhardt of Thousand Oaks, CA, Brande R. (Chris) Rash of Parkville, MO, and Elliot F. Buss of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; along with numerous grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents.

 

Frank proudly served in both the U.S. Navy Reserves and the U.S. Air Force.

 

Frank was a lineman for 43 years with NIPSCO.  He was a member of  Agape Christian Church and a 50-year member of the Rolling Prairie Conservation Club.   Frank was involved with the Boy Scouts for 10 years and enjoyed playing golf.

 

Cremation has taken place with Cutler Funeral Home and Cremation Center, La Porte.  A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at Agape Christian Church on Friday, May 12th, 2023.  The visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 11:00 a.m.
