Carolyn Gail Goley, 64, of Corbin, KY, passed away on Sunday, April 30th, 2023 at Pikeville Medical Center, Pikeville, KY.

 

Born in Ary, KY, she was the daughter of George and Pearlie (Banks) Howard, born to them on February 1st, 1959.  Carolyn had a huge love for daytime TV shows, her plants, and spending time with her family.

 

Carolyn was preceded in death by her father, George Howard; sisters, Kimberly Howard, Lauraette Spencer, Bobbi Clemons, and Lucy Howard; brother, G. T. Howard; grandparents, Arnie and Edna Banks; aunts, Flora Howard and Alice Carpenter; and uncles, A. C. Banks and Wendell Carpenter.

 

Left behind to mourn her passing are daughters, Rhonda (Tim) McQueen of Corbin, KY and Renae (Eric Baugh) Goley of McKinney, TX; son, William Goley of Corbin, KY; grandchildren, Tyler, Jacob, and Chase Jones of  Corbin, KY and Alyson Baugh of McKinney, TX; 2 great-grandchildren, Delilah and Amelia Jones of Corbin, KY; mother, Pearlie Howard of La Porte; sisters, Lisa (Ernie) Melton of La Porte and Rebecca Howard of  New Carlisle; 3 brothers, James (Vickie) Howard, Jr. (Carol) Howard, and Herman (JoAnn) Howard, all of La Porte; niece, Erica (Seth) White of La Porte and Megan (Keith) Ponder of Michigan City; nephew, Prentist Qualls of New Carlisle; as well as numerous great-nieces, nephews, cousins, and family.

 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 5th, 2023 at South Center United Baptist Church with Pastor Ernie Melton officiating.  Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery.

 

A time of visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Friday at the church.
