Charles "Lucky" Stephenson, 73, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away peacefully Saturday March 4th, 2023 at Northwest Health - La Porte.

 

He was born January 22nd, 1950 in Knox, Indiana, the son of Jack Stephenson and Jane (Brooks) Stephenson.

 

Charles was a lifelong resident of the area graduating from North Judson High School. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, and playing on his computer in his free time, but loved nothing more than to relax and listen to his CDs. 

 

He is also survived by his daughter, Marla Nine of Winamac, IN; two sisters, Lynn (Jose) Hernandez of Knox, IN, Bonnie (Joe) Velazquez of Water Burro, SC; four grandchildren, Kourtney Fitch of Winamac, IN, Mercedes Nine of Winamac, IN, Kendall Murray of Winamac, IN, and Randi Ingram of Medaryville, IN.

 

Charles "Lucky" was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Edward Stephenson.

 

Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Avenue, LaPorte, IN. Cremation will take place.
