Misty A. McMurray, 36, Trail Creek, Indiana, passed away Saturday, February 11th, 2023 at 8:34 am in Franciscan Health - Michigan City.

 

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 am Saturday, March 4th, 2023 at Ott/Haverstock Funeral Chapel, 418 Washington Street, Michigan City, IN. Visitation will be from 9:00 am - 11:00 am  Saturday at the funeral chapel.

 

She was born July 26th, 1986 in Harrisburg, PA. On October 4th, 2014 in La Porte, IN she married Rodney McMurray who survives in Trail Creek, IN.

 

Surviving are her children, Ammia McMurray and Toby McMurray of Trail Creek, IN; Step Daughter, Sierra McMurray of Kingsford Heights, IN; Mother and Step Father, Dawn and Dennis Gardner of LaPorte, IN; Father, Timothy (Julie) Pickett of Wheeler, IN; three sisters, Christa (Zach) Burch of Michigan City, IN, Amber (Ryan) Pickett of Westville, IN, Heather Czizek of Michigan City, IN; her brother, Timothy Pickett of Hobart, IN and many precious nieces, nephews, family and friends. 

 

Misty enjoyed art, painting, and puzzles. Most of all, Misty's life was dedicated to her family and she loved them fiercely. We will miss her love, laughter, quick wit, sense of humor, and generous spirit.
