Mary Ann (Pinda) Sudrovech, 103, of Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, formerly of La Porte, Indiana passed away Friday, February 17th, 2023.

 

Mary Ann was born on February 11th, 1920, in La Porte, Indiana to Walter and Anna (Belniak) Pinda of La Porte.

 

Mary Ann graduated from La Porte High School in 1938. She retired as a Clerk and Pharmacy Technician from Hook’s Drug Store after many years. She had also worked at Tom McDonald & Sons, Hargrave & Hargrave, Bureau of Aeronautics, Dallas, Texas, and St. Joseph School Cafeteria.

 

Mary Ann was a member of Holy Family Parish, Saint Joseph Church, the Saint Joseph Funeral Choir, the Saint Joseph Rosary Society where she served as secretary, La Porte Hospital Pink Ladies, Saint Joseph Curiosity Shop, and Saint Margaret’s Circle. 

 

On February 23th, 1946, Mary Ann married Michael Patrick Sudrovech who preceded her in death on April 21st, 1979.

 

Surviving are daughters, Judith Ann (Michael) Taylor of Greenfield, Wisconsin, Kristine Kay (Donald Ami) Sudrovech Ami of Fruita, Colorado; sons, Michael P. Sudrovech II of Phoenix, Arizona, Timothy Jon (Juliet Matthews) Sudrovech of Bloomington, Indiana; six grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and one great great grandson. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Helen Trunko, Lillian Biela, Frances Welter, Peter Pinda, and Joseph Pinda. 

 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday, February, 23rd, 2023, at Holy Family Parish, Saint Joseph Church, 109 C. Street, La Porte, Indiana.  Family and friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 prior to the Mass at Frank L. Keszei Funeral Home, Essling Chapel, 1117 Indiana Avenue, La Porte, Indiana. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, La Porte.
